Privacy
Star Chat connects to Kick only when a channel owner authorizes it. We store the channel ID and name, selected styles, chat message progress, and a session needed to manage settings. We do not display or store Kick passwords or stream keys.
Chat messages are used to animate the chat and stream pet overlays. The pet also reacts to subscription and KICKs gift events, and stores the pet settings you save. Recent messages are periodically removed when new events arrive; idle channels may retain them until a later chat event. They are not published as a searchable history. The overlay URL is public and may show chat text while messages float across the stream. The community player features connected channels. Live status is checked against Kick, and a featured channel player remains available when everyone is offline.
End Credits keeps names and per-stream totals for chat messages, emotes, subscriptions, gifted subs, KICKs, new follows, raiding channel names entered by the creator or a moderator, and moderator activity. It resets these totals when Kick reports a new live session, and the credits display participating chatters and new followers on stream when the creator or a moderator starts them. Disconnecting deletes the credit settings and totals.
The raffle stores Kick user IDs and display names for people who type !promo during an open round. It uses the IDs to keep one entry per account and shows the entry count and drawn winner on stream. Starting a new round clears the previous entries; disconnecting deletes raffle settings and entries.
Pet Meadow stores each participating viewer’s Kick user ID, display name, chosen animal, earned XP, and recent activity separately for each connected channel. Names, animals, levels, and Top 5 progress are visible in the game overlay. Pets leave the screen after inactivity, while XP stays saved between streams and when changing animals. Pausing the game keeps progress; disconnecting and deleting the creator’s Star Chat data removes that channel’s game settings and viewer progress.
Stripe processes recurring subscription payments and card details. Star Chat stores the Kick account ID, Stripe customer, subscription and checkout references, selected billing interval, payment status, and paid access period to grant access and handle renewals, cancellation, and refunds. Previous one-time purchases remain recorded and honored. Star Chat does not receive or store full card details. Use Manage billing to cancel automatic renewal or update payment details. Disconnecting and deleting your data cancels future Star Chat billing and removes your stored access; it cannot be restored automatically. Deleting data does not issue a refund for payments already made.
Connected creators can use “Disconnect and delete my data” in the studio. You can also revoke the app in your Kick account settings. This site uses Kick’s official player for streams and is independent of Kick.
